Go Forward with Pencil is the spiritual successor to the Japanese culture-themed blog They Call Me An Egg. Like They Call Me An Egg, GFP is written by me, Charlie Hayward. I'm an amateur historian, a professional web writer, and a (hopefully) aspiring novelist and short-story writer.

Go Forward with Pencil is meant to be a place focused on creative work, posts about social issues, and on occasion, complete miscellany. In short, GFP is a place to relieve a mind that spends too much time imagining things.

I would like to give a quick shout out to the wonderful graphic designer, Blueeyedcreativ, who took the time to make our wonderful logo!
